Face-to-Face Osteopathic Courses

Focused postgraduate education for osteopaths who want to explore a subject in greater depth.

More than learning another technique

LXO face-to-face courses give you the opportunity to explore a subject in depth, bringing together osteopathic reasoning, clinical anatomy, palpation and applied technical skill.

Small-group practical teaching gives you time to observe, practise, receive feedback and refine what you do with your hands, while developing a deeper understanding of the reasoning behind what you're doing.

The aim isn't simply to leave with more techniques. It's to leave better able to understand, select and apply what you do in clinical practice.

Technique without Reasoning is guesswork.

Reasoning without Technique is theory.

Experience an LXO face-to-face course

Our Cervical Cadaveric Anatomy and Osteopathic Technique Course, held at Keele Medical School, brought detailed anatomical study together with practical osteopathic teaching.

Osteopaths explored the anterior neck, swallowing mechanism, suboccipital region, vascular pathways, cervical fascia, cranial nerves and axilla before applying that understanding to practical osteopathic technique for these regions.

The course then moved from anatomy to practical application, with time to observe, practice and refine osteopathic techniques with guidance and feedback.

What Osteopaths say about LXO Courses

Eva Murniece | Osteopath, England

“All techniques are broken down into clear, manageable steps, making everything easy to understand and apply. The small group sizes mean you get plenty of individual attention and hands-on guidance, which really helps build confidence and ensure safe, effective practice.

Jamie encourages you to think deeply about the anatomy behind each technique, strengthening clinical reasoning as well as technical skill.”

Srdjan Andjelkov | Osteopath, Serbia

“Excellent education, as always concise, detailed, and delivered with a very high level of knowledge in anatomy, biomechanics, and clinical reasoning. Most importantly, everything presented was immediately applicable in everyday clinical practice.”

Pedja Peric | Osteopath, Serbia

“One of the highlights of the course was the outstanding cadaver anatomy presentation. It provided an exceptional opportunity to understand the relevant anatomy in a practical and clinically meaningful way. The level of detail and clarity made the learning experience both engaging and highly valuable.”
